No, that's not what I thought; I said that I didn't want to drive the 2nd pic's OSCIN with Fosc/4 from the OSCOUT of the 1st one, but I didn't realize that: M. I have relied on OSCOUT==Fosc/4 in the past, where I've used RC drive, to clock other logic. So I'd been thinking it would be the same for XT. Thanks for clearing that up!
