I learned of frontpanelexpress in a thread here a while back and it looks like a great service that I would like to try (same for emachinesop, which was discussed in the same thread) but this project has to be watertight so I can't really use a front panel, per se. But could I send my aluminum enclosures to them (or even just the lids) to have lettering, logos, etc. milled and anodized? I looked at their website and it shows a pic from a screenshot of their application that shows a "Use customer's material" checkbox, but I can't find details on the website on the limitations of the supplied material.
