Only the D'' form for decimal is shown. I don't remember seeing > the "." for a long time? Hi Olin, As far as your comments are concerned, it just depends on what documentation you are looking at. I'm just in a habit of using the '.' decimal radix notation because I cut my teeth on Microchip MPALC -- the precursor to MPASM. Yes, you are correct, I do not see the '.' decimal radix notation listed in "MPASM User's Guide with MPLINK and MPLIB", DS33014G, which was printed in 1999. Does that mean it IS obsolete? Not necessarily. The '.' decimal radix notation is alive and well in the MPASM on-line help. Does that mean it is NOT obsolete? Once again, not necessarily. All I know is that I have seen Microchip give advice and defer customers to the on-line help indicating that it contains, for the most part, the latest information. I guess only Microchip can tell us their position on this one. Take care Olin, Ken Pergola -- http://www.piclist.com hint: PICList Posts must start with ONE topic: [PIC]:,[SX]:,[AVR]: ->uP ONLY!
