I don't have too much HTML experience but I'll pick it up as I go, and that should be time well spent anyway. The application I have in mind shouldn't be too hard. The graphics I'll keep pretty simple, just a few buttons for starting/stopping various processes. The trickiest will be displaying a line graph of test results, but using the ready made widget for this should help a lot. The RS232 interface is something I'm pondering about now. The project will have a PIC16F or 18F device with RS232 interface to a PC, then I need a second RS232 to the Amulet module. I would like to be able to download from the PC to the PIC (bootloader) and also from the PC to the Amulet module (uHTML GUI code), so the user can do their own field upgrades when I email them new code. Think I'll get the Amulet dev kit first and play around till I know all the ins and outs of it. Yeah, a color/grayscale version would be cool. I'm thinking a basic audio output would be nice for user feedback too (key clicks, etc). Thanks, Brent.
