Perhaps the hacker is using ultrasonics. I once had a debounce routine go nuts when external vibration turned some mechanical device contacts into the next best thing to a tuning fork. The output of bison contains a significant chunk of bison itself, but there's an exception which means that a program produced with bison doesn't have to be under the GPL.
