I have the ITU programmer, though I don't use it much anymore. It is essentially a clone of the classic "Tait" design, and anything that works with a tait programmer should work with it as well. Back when I was using Win98, my favorite software to use with it was the "pp" programmer. It only burned the memory locations that had been changed, so for development revisions it was extremely fast (much faster than the software that came with the ITU programmer. This has been superceded by another programmer called "FPP", which was also written by David Tait. You can pick up a copy here: http://people.man.ac.uk/~mbhstdj/piclinks.html In the documentation for this programmer it explains how to use it under WinNT/XP. I teach a course in embedded programming here and a couple of years ago I used this as the programming software for the course. I had the students build a stripped down Tait programmer on their breadboards and use FPP to do the programming. It worked under both Win2K and WinXP. Best of luck with your project.
