It's not a problem. The FCC allows a certain power output based on measured strength at some distance from the antenna. This power is more than enough to allow pickup of a signal even greater than a few hundred feet. The key is to pick a clear frequency away from high power stations. If there's a clear frequency in the middle of the FM band, then great!
