I noticed it was closed down about a day after being posted to the
PICList.

Everyone knows about the "Slashdot effect" where an article gets posted
and the world pounds your webserver (or more likely your available
bandwidth) into the ground...

Is there a similar but smaller "PICList Effect"?  :-)  ;-P
