Well my PS+ upgrade module arrived on Thursday, I whipped out the screwdriver to upgrade it and 5 minutes later powered it up. Enabled it via Mplab (latest version)and it told me there was a newer version available for firmware upgrade. I located the upgrade, and boom. Packet not received error. I reset the PS+ and it told me that it had corrupted firmware :-( Great I thought - I've been waiting months for this and have broken it within 10 minutes of using it. I then tried the lower version of the firmware and it programmed fine. Tested on a couple of 18F452's and programmed them fine. Tried again to upgrade to the latest version and happily it went through. Tested with the 18F452's again and its quite happy. I havent noticed much of an improvement over programming times but I can now program a lot of the 18F's that it wouldnt support before.
