"Wheat is willing" is a *literal* translation of the two-character Chinese name of the Taiwanese company called MDT in English (mai4 ken3 in Pinyin). It might be phonetic or surnames of the founders. A native Chinese speaker might be able to figure it out. ;-) The characters may be different in Taiwan because they use traditional characters vs. the simplified characters usually used on the mainland.
