I am not sure of the size you need, but if it is a larger case such as 1o: or so wide, your best bet may be to go to a metal fabrication shop and have them bend some 11 guage ( which is heavy duty) into two channel shapes so that when turne will mate to each other. This is used in a lot of amatuer radio equipment, but on a much lighter guage. Most shops have a sheer which will cut the larger peices to sizer and a brake which will bend them. You may consider a lighter guage for the top since touindicate you will not have that much pressure there.
