Over the past few months DigiKey has begun carrying lower priced LCD's, similar in price to the crystalfontz outfit mentioned. I suspect, however, you will end up paying a premium for the 2x7 pattern .... it seems as though most of the lower priced models have the 1x14 format. What seems even stranger is that where on the circuit board you want those 14 pins seems to make a very big difference in price. If you are not familiar with DigiKey they tend to have prices on the lower side, although rarely the lowest, but have customer service second to none. 72/73 de WB8RCR http://www.qsl.net/wb8rcr didileydadidah QRP-L #1446 Code Warriors #35 ----- Original Message ----- From: "al smith" To: Sent: Wednesday, January 21, 2004 6:25 PM Subject: [PIC]: 8 bit LCD module recommends > I have a small group of testers (as my previous post was looking at doing a > load test) and need a few off the shelf LCD (2x16 or so) that have a 14 pin > (2x7) hole pattern.
