I thought I'd post a link here because I figure you guys would appreciate it. At the request of a friend, I've created an intercooler monitor that displays inlet/outlet temps of the intercooler on a VFD. I also added peak temp display as an afterthought. I created a video of it in operation: http://home.comcast.net/~tekphobia/vfdfinal1.avi (2.6MB) There's a smaller video I did that shows the opening screen, plus the initial layout: http://home.comcast.net/~tekphobia/vfdfinal.avi (363KB) And the very latest finished project: http://home.comcast.net/~tekphobia/vfdfinal2.avi (1.1MB) Pictures can be found here: http://forums.club4ag.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=56501 This is what sparked the "AN566 Clarifcation" thread. I have two buttons on RB7/RB6 for brightness/peak reset. I was using interrupts to catch them, but now I just check the pin status in the main loop; it's fast enough! I've posted this to some forums I frequent and get lots of wow's, but you guys are harder to impress =) -Tim -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The PICList is archived three different ways.
