I can't help directly. But, there are logic chips that run on 1 volts and
under. PC's have 1.1 and .8 volt on board supplies, so their must be chips
that run on these lower voltages.

Maxim has many power supply chips made for microprocessor aps that brag
about the efficiency of their .8 volt dc-dc converter chips.

If anyone knows of a cmos logic product line that runs at 1 volt, I'd sure
love to hear about it.
