Thanks, Win and everyone;  there's obviously a great deal to ponder in this,
and a lot of variables.  There's a lot to consider if you're going to make
an intelligent decision, and a lot of things that are hard to evaluate
before you sign on.

So, probably I'll just go with the cheapest one that looks OK.
