Yes, electronically controlled firing. Not only full auto (though there
will be a mode for it) but burst (multiple rounds per pull) and semi
(one round per pull). The most used mode will be semi, and it'll be
limited to keep me from outpacing the mechanical device (in particular
the feed mechanism), a big problem when the trigger pull becomes a mouse
click.

A future project will attempt to improve the feed mechanism, basically
by letting the hopper know what the gun is doing.
