After hearing all the recommendations for this book on this I decided I
needed one. I watched EBAY for several weeks for used books and found them
selling as high as $70.

I then checked out Amazon.com where I found a "Student Manual" for $32.70
with free shipping. It has the plastic comb binding which will lie flat when
open and a soft cover.

I does look like a good book and about half the bookstore price.

The book you have ordered is a companion to AoE, and contains a series of
labs experiments for a student to go through. I have a copy here and went
through it a few years. It's well worth adding to your library, but don't
confuse it with the real AoE.
