If you look at some cap types, they can go from -20% to 200%.  For
bypass caps, usually the more uF the better!  Look at Z5U or XR7 for
examples.

.1uf  Panasonic mylar or poly are usually good.  Look at Digikey?

Probably not in surface mount!
