Hot I don't mind so much as humid. There's little escape from
humid. I'm OK with cold, at least you can dress for it and doing
any physical activity doesn't leave you soaked. I wonder about
the effect of sweat acid on circuit boards etc, very hard keeping
your hands clean and dry

OTOH at least it's quiet outside. Usually at this time of year
the air is full of the sound of cicadas, which can get on your
threepenny bits when you're trying to concentrate, but maybe
the high humidity has done something to them. Although I've
never seen so many praying mantises, and they're great cicada
munchers, right down to the last feeble buzz
