> Probably so. How did you come to this design? Was it a Eureka > moment? Were you helping the kids play with LEGOs? I am a software guy, much more than hardware. The idea has been in the back of my head for a long time in one form or another. And finally someone called who wanted to buy a bunch of boards for his classroom, so I went ahead and created a few boards. Various PIClist discussions about the 'ideal starter kit' also contributed to the idea, mainly by convincing me that a one-fits-all approach is not the way to go. The simmsticks from Dontronics are also an inspiration, although IMHO Don has not taken full advantage of the possibilities of modularity.
