Probably so.  How did you come to this design?  Was it a Eureka
moment?  Were you helping the kids play with LEGOs?

For me, I was trying to make something that would let me look at RS-232 and
it was a single board idea, when it got too big for the EAGLE freeware.

When I split it into two boards and had to think about the interface, then
all my "modular software" practices woke up and the design got much cleaner.
