I cannot remember if you are an Amateur Radio Operator or not. In the US, our organization has special insurance available to cover radio equipment. It is only a short stretch to include a computer now days. My TenTec Pegasus Transciever has no panel, just a DB9 connector. Yup, I appreciated that, but the household cover (which I don't need), doesn't cover very much as far as laptops are concerned, the policy makes you think it does. I got all excited when my google search threw up a company who seemed reasonable, until I found one must be domiciled in either the UK or Belgium to be covered. I could give a UK address, but somehow I don't think the 28 day other country cover, would be of much help. I'm just surprised that only one insurer offers specific cover in Australia.
