Actually you'll be doing well to get better then 90% efficiency (esp. at full output!) - so for 1kW out, the input power is 1.111kW or 88.8A at 12.5V RP 83 1/3 to be precise. Of course, typical battery voltage is more on the order of 12.5V so you're looking at 80A. If the 12V becomes a limitation, I can string the batteries together and get any voltage I want with proportionate decrease in current. Do you have any help with the circuit?
