I`m actually looking for a 2x20 pin socket so soldering it shouldn`t be too difficult. If possible i`d like to find a press-fit one as they are dead easy to use. Cheers, Regards, Andrew --- Johnathan Corgan wrote: Andrew Seddon wrote: >Has anybody ever seen a PC104 style connector on a 1.27mm pitch. They do have connectors with .050" pitch, but it was hard to see if they had the long solder tail option that would allow the stack-up you describe. http://www.mill-max.com Hand-soldering PC104 connectors is difficult as the pins become four deep and there isn't much room with 2mm pitch and the height of the solder tails. I can't imagine 1.27mm would be much fun :-) -Johnathan -- http://www.piclist.com#nomail Going offline?
