My PIC development environment at http://www.embedinc.com/pic uses
relocatable code exclusively and also make extensive use of macros.

Probably not.  In any case there are lots of macro examples in the
STD.INS.ASPIC file of my PIC development environment.  It also comes with
example linker scripts and whole working example projects.
