I think he ment the inter-character delay that was mentioned
in earlier post. I read this as a general RS232 problem,
not something specific to PICs at all. That is, in a continous
stream of characters, the receiver *can* lose the sync
and miss stop/start bits. That was how I read the other
post, at least...

IMHO, this isn't normaly a problem that you have to worry
to much about.
