Hi All,

I have been trying to get the C18 Demo, ICD2, and PicDem 2+ going.
I got blinking Leds on Bport from an example (modified) working in C,
but have yet to get text to the LCD!  I know the hardware and edit cycle
are working!

I have been on the phone 3 times to Mchip support  and on the Forum.
They have sent me to the forum for answers! Still no "Hello World!"
I have an email in presently to tech support for their amusement.
It seems like you really have to be a 'C' guy to even get basics done?

Seeing discussions on the Pic List about the Forum, it dawned on me!

Has anyone got the batch files sorted out and recompiled the libraries
in C18 to
make the LCD functions work on the PicDem2+???  I have modified the the
lcd header file and
the make batch file to make a new Clib, but still no LCD text.  It seems
to me that their batch file
skips the subdirectory to re-compile the LCD functions?  That could be
all or one problem?
