HELP, i'm working on a "simple" headlight, it's suposed to adjust the headlight with reference to a resistor pot inside the car. i'm using AD conversion to work out the position. my list of problems: =3dthe pot fitted to the headlight makes (say) only a 30=b0turn, in the car the pot turns about 200=b0, to scale this down i'm using a division routine to work out a ratio. =3dthis will need for the unit to be calibrated =3di need to store the calibration values in eeprom =3di then need to apply the ratio to the pot in the dashboard. my concern is the code is getting too big and complicated for such a simple device, and maybe too slow? is there an easier way? thanks -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The list server can filter out subtopics (like ads or off topics) for you.
