What cracks me up about ebay is bidders never do their homework. It is a seller's marketplace. I bought one of these manuals two years ago from Digikey...I just checked and they had 32 in stock for $9.95 ea. If I had known that I could get it from Microchip for free I would have asked them for a copy.
