I think Microchip isn't so sure about the market. USB uses a LOT of hardware chip resources, so there isn't much left for normal uChip needs. Right now, MC is making money letting us interface to large hardware devices and selling the PICs that control them. My guess is that there will be a USBpic in our future, using the 30F structure. --Bob At 02:29 AM 12/12/2003, you wrote: > > > Why hasn't > > > Microchip made this easy for us by now with sample code? > > > The question I ask is "Why hasn't microchip made this easy for us with USB > > in a Flash device?" > >They're probably trying to be fair on the competition and by giving them a >sporting chance to capture the market before Microchip does :-) > > > RM > >-- >http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList >mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu -------------- Bob Axtell PIC Hardware & Firmware Dev Tucson, AZ 1-520-219-2363 "I lose some on each sale but make it up in volume." -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The PICList is archived three different ways.
