Not quite.  Note that there are only 8 rows by 10 columns for a total of 80
cubes.

Make sure the red VAR knob in the middle of the time base knob is all the
way to the right.  It should click into a detent.  The UNCAL light to the
left of the time base knob should then be unlit.  You can't make time
measurements when UNCAL is lit.

How far off from 1KHz are you seeing?  What are you using as the 1KHz
reference?
