Hello to all and Happy Holidays The organization I work for will be in the need for some fiber optic patch cables in the near future. My boss wants us to have the capability to make our own cables. He has mentioned getting an automated setup to strip, de sheath, and cleave the cables. The only things that have jumped out at me are the products made by Schleuniger, but they are for high volume. We will not need to make high volumes of the cable, just be able to make them if needed in a pinch. If anyone out there makes there own small batches of fiber optic patch cables how do you do it? Do you do it all by hand? How difficult is it to do? Any suggestions would be great.=20 Charles K Roberts II -- http://www.piclist.com hint: PICList Posts must start with ONE topic: [PIC]:,[SX]:,[AVR]: ->uP ONLY! [EE]:,[OT]: ->Other [BUY]:,[AD]: ->Ads
