I believe I heard one user say at one point that updating the DirectX drivers on his machine helped. Why that would, I don't know. Sometimes I have a little trouble the first time I want to program under Win2k, but usually, simply resetting the programmer (with the reset button, not by power cycle) helps. Finally, make sure you're running the latest version of the software from the website, and note that, once installed, the actual executable should be updated by downloading the latest version of the executable.
