I am trying to recall the manufacturer and part # of a linear 5v=

regulator, that is especially designed for use in electrically=
 noisy
environments, mainly cars and trucks.

I've looked at the MIC29150 from Micrel, which does the job, but=

there is another manufacturer I'd just like to compare with.

>From memory I think the part# begins with HV or HT or HC.

I've done a google search, but my search criteria must be=
 wanting, as
I'm not getting the info I need.

If anyones brain is working better than mine I'd be grateful for=
 your
help.
