Michael, Thanks for your replay I also have PSOC development system on my desk too I think it is pretty good development system too. As far as putting capitalize letter on each line I am not doing that microsoft word is doing it I'll try to change it. I use outlook that automatically calls microsoft word for spell check. Andre -----Original Message----- Andre, I am not a engineer, but I do have my own business doing PC/Network/Server stuff. I think you have to follow the market. Since you have so much PIC experience, learning new microcontrollers shouldn't be too hard. Just read the datasheets and perhaps find a decent book and you should have no trouble. I have built projects using PIC and 8052 type controllers (little ones up thru the Dallas high speed 24 bit address) and also played a little with the Motorola HC11. I just got my free PSOC from Cypress, but I have not had time to play with it yet. Admittedly the processors are varied, but I feel that they have far more similarities than differences. In my oppinion, once you have seen a few you have roughly seen them all. ;-) It's just a matter of learning the peculiarities of each one. With 7 years of experience with PICs you should be able to handle a project using the MSP430, it just might take a little longer while you adjust to the new environment. Now, on another note. I don't wish to be rude, but you need to make a couple of adjustments with your English grammar. You shouldn't capitalize the first letter of each "line", just the first letter of each individual "sentence". When you are making a statement, end the sentence with a "." (you seem to do this pretty well :-) If you are asking a question, put one of these "?" at the end. You're doing pretty well, but with a couple of changes you will be more easily understood. Plus potential employers will like this. By the way, Olin is/was looking for someone with PIC experience. Perhaps he would allow you to telecommute. Good luck with the job search. michael brown Andre Abelian wrote: > HI to all engineer, > > Suppose one of you worked on pic over 7 years and got > Bunch of projects done asm or C now there is contract > Job offer instead of using pic is MSP430F149 by TI ho > Would you respond are you ready to work with TI micro > Or you are beginner for TI micro and you shouldn't > Even go close to it.
