Did you write the ICSP software by yourself ? or donwload it from WEB? -----Original Message----- From: pic microcontroller discussion list [mailto:PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU]On Behalf Of Ken Pergola Sent: Friday, December 19, 2003 4:07 AM To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Subject: [PIC:] ICSP reset circuit Sometimes you need a reset supervisor chip instead of a simple RC circuit for a PIC application. I tend to be leery of RC reset circuits or just a pull-up resistor from /MCLR to Vdd for the PIC's reset circuit. Attached is one of my favorite supervisor ICs that I'm using in an ICSP (in-circuit serial programming) situation with the Microchip ICD 2. I'm not using the reset supervisor chip to its full potential in this case (the power-fail interrupt feature is nice in some situations), but it's a great reset chip that I keep in my toolbox even though it may be overkill in some applications. Hopefully someone may have a use for it also. If so, enjoy! Best regards, Ken Pergola -- http://www.piclist.com hint: PICList Posts must start with ONE topic: [PIC]:,[SX]:,[AVR]: ->uP ONLY!
