It was probably a surface mount assembly. Even those 350MHz or whatever deals they have listed under radio control or whatever are not chips. If they have chips, or *anything* at 433.92, they must not wan't anyone to find it. Not even a search engine. As for my price range... just because a chip is under $16, there's a battery clip, switch, passives, PCB...
