who has experience with ds2761 interfaced by a pic?

I found I can make it out of sleep mode and every time
I need push a button to pull -PS pin low to leave.

I tried other method but not like data sheet described and
I also found write to EE to change default setting is impossible.

Is there some decent way to change ds2761 from power on
sleep mode into active mode, other than pull -PS pin low?
