A CPU neutral RS-232 adapter with DB-9 to 0.100" sockets is located at

I could easily make my PIC evaluation board have sockets compatible with
the Model AD233BK
(rts cts tx rx - +)

The Al Williams product in the same niche does not seem to have pin-outs on
his web site.

Are there other RS232 products that I should consider?
Will this compatibility be important to anyone?

The ICSP side will be tested for compatible with the PIC-PG1 from Olimex.
