Hello, Sorry, my last post lacked the complete "[EE:]". -- I turned on my 2245A ocilloscope last week after it being on the shelf for several months. None of the controls worked except for the pots that control brightness, etc. I pulled the cover off (first time in its 15 years) and looked arround. With the cover off I turned it on and it started working. I emailed Tektronics and they said it is (Grrr!) obsolete and they no longer support it. Ditto with the probes. (One has a broken connection inside.) Maybe this is a good time to copy the internal eproms. Anyway, for now it is working. Anyone have any recommendations for a comarable replacement? The 2245A is an analog 100Mhz four channel with CRT. How do the CRT models compare with the color LCD models? How about the TDS2014?
