I'm used with low income too. So I'm a frequent visitor at Dallas/Maxim, Texas Instruments, National Semiconductor and Analog Devices. All of them have 'free samples' programs. Even Microchip does offer sample PIC devices, but they dont send to here (Brazil) due to high import taxes. Texas - They sent all the samples I asked for!! Great service!! Dallas - When I first asked i got a few samples. I asked again later, but the samples weren't delievered....? National - Asked once and got 'unable to fullfill your request' after a few days. Maybe you have better luck. Analog - I never asked for samples here, but a friend of mine got some. I'm a bit on the "low income" side of life....and I like many of you take advantage of "Free Samples" from Maxim-IC. I was wondering if other companies are also as kind :) Thanks, Tim -- http://www.piclist.com#nomail Going offline?
