What does one get when ordering a Picstart Plus? I will want to be able to program everything from older PIC's such as the PIC16C71, 12C509's, 17C4x, 16C54's and current PIC's like the 16F628 and 16F877. I was looking at the Jameco web site and saw the following part number: Digi-Key Part Number DM163010-ND at a single-unit price of $125.00. This Picstart will be used under Linux which has a command-line driver that supports the Picstart Plus. The Linux driver supports all the chips that MPlab does, but I am under the impression there are modules you buy for different PIC series. I am interested in being able to program all DIP-style PIC's if that is practical. Thanks in advance.
