Yes I'm sure of it ,I have a RS 232 -Hyper Terminal Connection to view the line. And sometimes it re starts. At first I thought it was a compiler error ,probably caused by floating point library .but when I checked the MCLR pin with scope i saw cripples.so decided to put a capacitor. It almost fixed the line but still i'm not sure that if i can get better results . -----Original Message----- From: pic microcontroller discussion list [mailto:PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU]On Behalf Of Josh Koffman Sent: Wednesday, December 10, 2003 6:31 PM To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Subject: Re: MCLR pin problems Are you sure it's resetting because of an MCLR reset? Could it be a brownout reset, or something like that? How do you know the chip is resetting at all?
