Ah, yes, for the *old* revision (A3) of the parts.
But you wrote about "existing silicon" in the post where you
mentioned the 4Mhz limit, right ? That confused me.
I thought that it was the A4 parts that you got if ordered today...

The errata sheet for the A4 parts are

and they do not mention anything about 4Mhz.
