You can get thinnish silicon spray but in your case filling the connector with Vaseline like density grease is probably preferred. In NZ ARANDEE chemical make (made?) a food grade Silicon Grease which can be used just about anywhere. It's an excellent insulator as long as you don't exceed its break down temperature :-( . I used some on terminals in a high temperature (170 C) location on mains connections in some industrial equipment. It broke down under combined heating and localised heating stresses.
