Hopefully it gets built and stays built

The thing about salt is that it's so invasive. Moisture on its own
is fairly easy to keep out, although it's probably impractical to
avoid humidity. This is an internal fitting in an underwater
camera housing so its working life will be in salt-laden water
or air. The person who soldered it up before me just used heat-
shrink and exposed metal areas have suffered the most,
particularly corrosion creeping up under the wire's sheathing
