Any factory that turns out floppies in Asia will snub them with their $250k. They probably don't make twice as much per annum on the floppies, net. And every developer who wants to make a (pic based) device that talks to a CF card or to a MMC and implements (or has implemented ?) FAT needs a license, and cannot transfer it (as in, sell a solution as a software component) probably without a special agreement from the borg, which will co$t.
