Note that the 18F442 *does* have RAM banks, just different (and
much easier to use) then on the 16-series.

But maybe you was all the time in Bank0 or used the "access bank" ?

The "access bank" is perhaps on of the greatest things with the 18-
series. Access to 128 bytes RAM *and* ALL SFR's without any banking.
