The __CONFIG directive is pretty easy to use- all you really need to know you can find by cross-referencing from the template provided by MChip to the datasheet. It took me a while to find it, but in most cases, the section spelling out the Config bits for a particular processor is in the "Special features of the CPU" section of the datasheet. The one place gotchas still lurk is in the abbreviations used by the __Config directive, and you can figure *those* out by opening up the .dev file for the proc you're using OR by looking at the spiffy little "Configuration Bits" menu item in the latest versions of MPLAB. Which of the settings (the configurations I made in my >programmer or the __CONFIG line in my asm code) actually take effect on the >PIC when programmed? > >Maybe someone knows of a good resource for me learn a little more about how >that __CONFIG directive works? > >Thanks, Richard _________________________________________________________________ Wonder if the latest virus has gotten to your computer?
