Whenever I see this, I'm reminded of a true incident.  A friend of mine
spent a whole day debugging the RADIX command for a command line
interpretive shell that he wrote.  The RADIX command determined the
default base for displaying numeric items.  He just couldn't figure out
why when he entered a RADIX command everything seemed to work right with
numbers coming out in the correct format, but the RADIX command would
always report "RADIX successfully set to: 10".   ;-)
